Starting last week, each time I open up AVG, I get a warning that someone has made an attempt to get into a private section of Avast and makes me sign in to AVG to run a scan. As far as I know, this computer has never had Avast software on it. Does anybody have an idea of what is going on?
Thank you for the screenshot.
This message is intended for the AVG program installed on your computer. It seems that the product name is displayed incorrectly. We will escalate this to the concerned team to change it to AVG.
The warning is about you accessing the settings of AVG. You need to enter a password which you have created to access AVG settings, without this you won't be able to get into your AVG Internet Security settings.
