Was charged $49.99 after 30 day trial but was not informed

I was charged for $49.99 on the 2nd of April 2018 but I only bought the free 30-day trial and I'm not wishing to continue my subscription with AVG. I was not informed that AVG would charge after the 30-day trial. I was completely misinformed. Can the money be refunded? I was not notified about this. Also, I have not used the software since a month ago so please refund back my money. I'm just a college student and I'm broke. Please do something about this.
