I've had the free version of AVG antivirus installed on my computer since I bought it two years ago. I've had only rave reviews for it until two nights ago. While surfing the Internet, my computer suddenly booted to a black screen, where the words "Phase 0: Watchdog Initialization" appeared. I let the screen run for six hours, as it was unresponsive to any keystrokes or input I tried, then shut it down. Since then, my computer has been basically unusable. It will not boot to a login in screen. It will not boot into safe mode. Upon start up (which takes at least twice as long as it normally does) it boots directly to the Watchdog screen and I am unable to proceed any further.  After reading the other forums, which proved also to be unhelpful, I have no other recourse for this issue. My computer is necessary for both my job and my schooling, and this is proved to be massively inconvenient. What can be done (if anything) to make it usuable again?
