have a computer running VISTA
have had no problem until I tired connecting wifi connection via USB with a Netgear device.
could not find drivers for it, and when i rebooted the computer got stuck trying to install AVG Watchdog.
CANNOT get out of it, safe mode even locks up trying to do the AVG files.
have no idea when AVG was installed on computer, or by what email address ( computer is many many years old)… I have read tons of threads , most saying to get an AVG Rescue CD, which i am told does NOT exist. cannot try uninstall software, because I cannot get IN the computer
what the heck??? C'mon there must be a way out of this ( & no i dont have logitek drivers on it)

We request you to uninstall the AVG program using clear tool in the safe mode.
Use the following link to download the AVG Clear tool https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe
Run the file and when you get AVG clear window loading, you will get a prompt with Yes and No option. Click on "No" and then select "Uninstall" to proceed with the removal.
Restart the PC when the prompt appears.

I said I am locked OUT!
when i boot the computer it stops at a black screen trying to install AVG watchdog!!!

i cannot get into the link on sent for the AVG clear… but tried to download it from your support.avg.com site, BUT when i try to run the program AVG tells me its infected with win32/Heri & wont let me run it
((BTW I was finally able to boot into windows by getting a previous system restore to work))

If you are still getting any error, kindly share us the screenshot of it.
BTW i cannot get into the website to dowload the AVG clear program, it tells me my clock is set wrong.
