I have windows 7 ultimate . Last night avg did anot update and I'm unable to start my pc ever since . It says initializing watchdog and ends at phase 1 :finished and that's where it stays. If I try safe mode it gets stuck at a avg driver . I have tried rebooting . Rebooting in safe mode . Repairing. Repairing with win 7 disk . Restoring , avg boot rescue and disconnecting all devices . Nothing helps . This is extremely urgent . There are case files that need to be submitted tomorrow at work . PLEASE HELP !!!

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. The issue might be with the updated graphics card in your computer. We suggest you install AVG again and check if you still have any issue, we can understand your frustration, however, please be informed that this watchdog error was fixed a long ago and there was no recent report regarding this error.

We are sorry to hear that the issue persists. Are you able to boot in to safe mode with networking, if you are able to boot, please uninstall AVG from safe mode and then check if you are able to access your computer in normal mode.
