Web links from email (outlook) no longer work since AVG update

Please disable AVG Antivirus temporarily as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-use-Passive-Mode and check whether it resolves the issue with the link opened from Outlook.

Hello,

Since latest update to AVG web links in outlook emails no longer work. it just opens a blank tab and the browser is frozen. there is a small vertical red line next to the tab when this happens.
