since installing AVG 2021 i have found my computer is slow to load web pages which is ok, but it hs had the effect that some pages time out and wont connect at all. has anyone else had this problem and know of a solution. the failed page gives me the message the page took too long to respond and beneath it reads "err_connection_timed_out"
I have discovered through a proccess of elimination that it is the VPN tht is stopping me from being able to access some web pages… this is the total opposite of what it is suppossed to do

i have tried that and sometimes it works, but more often it does not. It has even been refusing to let me load this page. The only recourse i have is to switch it off… like now so i could send this response

the page that most often times out is an audio book site.
