I have a desktop wireless machine running Windows 10. I have fully paid AVG running.
Everything worked fine until a few hours ago. I did a routine restart.
None of the browsers worked after then - Chrome, Firefox, Opera. SLL ERROR …
I turned AVG Web Shield off & they all started working again.
I turned the Shield back on & the browsers stopped again.
I have two other wireless machines also with AVG paid. No problems.
I'm assuming this is an AVG problem. I don't want to surf the internet with the Shield permanently turned off.
How do I fix this?

To re state the problem:
1. I did a routine computer restart a few days ago.
2. I then got this problem:
I couldn't get browser access to the internet when AVG Web Shield is turned on.
Browser access works fine when the Web Shield is turned off.
Since then I have done the following:1 Uninstalled AVG & "Repaired. Problem not solved.
2. A full AVG uninstall, restart computer, download AVG, re -installed AVG, then activated using my subscription code. Problem not solved.
Browser error messages are (when Web Shield is turned on):
- CHROME "This site can't provide can't provide a secure connection. www.theaustralian.com.au sent an invalid response. ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR"
- FIREFOX "Secure Connection Failed. An error occurred during a connection to www.google.com. SSL received a record with an incorrect Message Authentication Code. Error Code SSL_ERROR_BAD_MAC_READ
