Hi,
AVG Web Shield works fine: I just want to disable Web Shield on HTTPS websites, like in Windows PC. If the feature doesn't existe on Mac, is it possible to include it ?
Thanks.
Muneeb, do you mean AVG is flagging your website as a threat and blocking it? If yes, please provide a screenshot of the detection pop up.
Hi,
I have just noticed that Web Shield scans secure websites (SSL) too : all my encrypted traffic could be read, because AVG works like MITM. I don't want that, so I turned off Web Shield.
Is it possible to activate Web Shield on HTTP websites only ?
Thanks.

Hi,
On Mac (AVG Antivirus), there is no "Menu" and in "Settings", there is no way to uncheck "Enable HTTPS Scanning".
Any idea ?

Regarding, AVG web shield issue in Mac, I request you to follow the steps provided in this article: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=Allow-AntiVirus-extensions-macOS-High-Sierra .
Keep me informed about the status.
Hi Avinash,
Well, the feedback page doesn't seem to cover Mac AntiVirus, at least not correctly (if I choose "AVG AntiVirus Free" I'd get drop-downs about a full version, whch does not (yet? ;)) exist for Macs. There doesn't seem to be a section for opinions regarding online support service and website design (or the like), so I'm just going to leave this comment here. Again, thank you for the link as well as the will to accept requests about such features (namely the lacking tunables).
