Web cam will work even if the web cam protection is off.
Web cam protection is for security, this wont block the access of web camera.Webcam protection will prevent other applications and malware from accessing your PC's webcam without your consent.
Do you find the webcam to be not working with this web cam protection being off? If you are experiencing any issues with our apps, please provide some additional information and I will be more than happy to help you out.

Help. AVG has turned off my Webcam Protection and cannot get it turned back on by instructions adviced. In simple language (I am in my 70's) how do I get to use my webcam again as I need to do this urgently. Cheers
