Thanks all for your quick responses.

I have followed the instructions to repair the computer, and have rebooted the desktop.  I now find that the exception/exclusion of trade.KenTrade.com.my is still there under Settings –> Basic Protection, yet KenTrade's website still does not work on IE.

To elaborate, I actually cannot use IE completely since the purchase of the desktop a few years ago.  I draw a blank page even when trying to load the homepage.  So nothing appears to have changed since repairing AVG Antivirus.

Please help.

Dear Sirs,

I have read How to exclude items from scanning in AVG AntiVirus | AVG.  I have tried to include the website, https://trade.kentrade.com.my in the exclusion list.  Whether before on after inserting the website into the exclusion list, the IE page remains blank (or produces the message can't reach this page).

When I try to drop antivirus protection for websites altogether, I can access the website using IE.  For sake of safety (and not having to drop antivirus protection altogether, please can you help me with the exclusion list?

Thank you Avinash and all.
The uninstalling and reinstalling helps.  I can now load all websites on IE including the homepage and kentrade.com.my.  Indeed, I now appear to have a new browser AVG Secure Browser as well, following the reinstallation.  I think all is in order.

Hi Avinash

I can load the website on Firefox and Chrome, but not Edge and IE.  If I don't touch AVG Antivirus/ if web shield is enabled.

To elaborate, even on Firefox and Chrome, I am unable to trade consecutively (more than once, without having to relogin) in the above circumstance.  I am told by KenTrade that I need IE specifically to avoid this problem.  (If we can get the exclusion/exception to work).  FYI.

How do I find out what the AVG shield/component is please?  (I had technical help from the KenTrade support services people who have told me that they cannot tell what the problem is, and to speak to you).

Web Shield only.

Windows 10 Home Single Language 2004.  Installed on 4/10/2020
AVG Antivirus 21.2.3170 (build 21.2.6096.651)  Virus definitions version 210408-4.

Since, this isn't the usual behavior, we'd suggest you to try repairing AVG once to check if it helps.

Just for troubleshooting purpose, could you load the website in a different web browser with Web shield enabled in AVG, share the results with us?
