Website functions blocked by Web Shield AVG Free

The repair option mentioned first did not resolve the issue, so then I used the AVG Remover and the AVG Clear tools.  During the Remover process I encountered an "AVGUIX.exe - Application Error:  A breakpoint has been reached. (0x80000003) occurred in the application at location 0x5fdcccd7.  Click OK or Cancel."  I proceeded with the AVG Clear process.  I reinstalled using the instructions and also received the same application error during the install, but the program now functions and I can use the website that started the problem.

Hello Adrian,
I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please uninstall and reinstall online shield in AVG Free Antivirus by going to AVG->Antivirus->Menu->Settings->Component->down arrow next to Online shield component->Uninstall component. Then reinstall it and check the status.

I can't use the online parts lookup an a parts website unless I disable Webshield in AVG Antivirus Free.  I have tried adding the site to exceptions, remove HTTPS  scanning, repairing AVG, and still the only way the website will function in Chrome is with Websheild disabled.  It works with internet Explorer.

Adrian,
I would like to appreciate your efforts and glad to know that the issue is resolved now. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need anything else.
