Websites Blocking

Hi Harry,

Thank you for writing this to us.
We'd like to clarify websites often attempt to identify the location of their visitors from their IP address, a process called IP geolocation.
IP geolocation uses a database that pairs together IP address ranges and geographical information. The information in this database can be inaccurate for several reasons.
Also, certain streaming services, banking, online shopping websites, etc has taken counter measures to block its users from accessing its content through VPN servers.
While we do continue to add new servers and ip addresses, they are quite fast to identify the same.
However, you can try connecting to different servers that are available in VPN service (depending on your preference & service).
Thank you for your understanding in advance!

Some info people might find useful. Some sites block you if they detect you connect via a VPN. Amazon Prime Video are open about it and tell you to stop using your VPN if you want to download video. They claim this is because copyright varies across borders and they have to obey the rules of your country. However, sometimes you get blocked by other sites but only see a failed connection with no explanation. This happened to me with my bank but in the end was a software fault in my router and my ISP installed a beta version and now all is fine. But, I also had a similar problem with my regular supermarket and the new software did not fix it. My VPN was connecting through another country but when I switched it to a my own country but still kept it active, my supermarket accepted my login.
