Hello Jan,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. In order to assist you better, please let us know whether you are facing same issue in all the browsers in your PC. Also, please let us know if there is any particular website that redirects to another website. If possible, please provide us the screenshot using the steps provided in this link http://avgread.me/1aZxsAV .
Thank you.

This advice sems somewhat weak as I am sure this malware or virus is quite common.  Please just give some clear advice on how to remove it and also how to prevent any further infections.  I am very reluctant to follow links from other websites as they all seem to want you to download some other software.  Can AVG advise what the best virus removasl tool is?

Please, please, please help :( I have both AVG Tune Up and Internet Protection. I've read your thread re Weevah2.top, and have followed all the advice given there, but have found nothing, and the problems continue. New tabs open up when I click on any link - even on this website. I keep being taken to different search engines, although Google is my default and there are no other options in my settings.

I just don't know how to proceed or what to do next :'(

Hello Edwin,

I request you to start uninstalling all unknown and weird programs that you see on your computer.
Also start removing the unnecessary add-ons, searchbar, toolbar, plugins and extensions from your browsers.
Reset the browser once and check whether the issue persists.
If the issue persists, do let me know whether you are using free, trial or paid version of AVG Antivirus.
