Hi again,
The error message actually has nothing to do with our time book/schedule but seemingly arises when we attempt to install a so-called SITHS-certificate (a type of identification/authorization protocol used for communication with governmental authorities and institutions) from a USB device. We are completely baffled by this as we have never had problems installing such certificates before. I don't suppose you have any knowlegde of SITHS-certification and/or could give us any advcie in this regard? In any case we very much appreciate your advice so far.
Cheers!
Hello,
Some time ago we used AVG Internet Security to run a complete computer scan which was manually terminated before it could properly finish. Since then we have not been able to install any new software on our computer. Whenever we download and try to run a .exe installation file, we get a strange error message that seemingly originates from the operating system (Windows 7) itself:
Win32 error 00000002
Code(0)
A quick google search suggests that the error message means that the installation file cannot be found by the operating system. We did not experience this problem prior to running the scan, so we're thinking that terminating it halfway through might somehow have broken something somwhere in the system's PATH (??).
Has anyone here ever experienced anything similar? Any ideas as to what might possibly be wrong are welcome, as we are currently at a loss about how to resolve this issue.
Thank you.
Hello Daniel,
This actually looks like an issue with Windows as aborting the scan of AVG will not cause such issues.
Have you contacted Microsoft support regarding this issue?
Could you share the (screenshot) of message that is appearing for .exe file?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

You are most welcome.
Thank you for the screenshot.
It looks like the error is associated with "Tidbook" application.
You can try accessing that application and check whether the same error appears.
If yes, you can confirm that the error is for the application and not due to AVG Internet Security scan.
