Exact same problem. Come on AVG – FIX IT!!!
I can't send pictures for some reason, but my laptop's AVG has been popping up with the message 'we've safely aborted connection on ideafrank.com because it was infected with Other:Malware-gen [Tri].
This has been going on for two months and I would like it fixed please.
I'm having the same issue: AVG Antivirus Free version, Chrome and Edge. I reset Chrome and tried again, but still getting the popup. I don't see a way to inset a screenshot.

If so, does it appear for all the browsers or any one of the browsers?
Could you share a screenshot of the AVG threat detection popup by clicking on 'see details' from it?
You can post the screenshot by clicking on 'Image' (mountain symbol) on 'Answer' field.
Are you using AVG Antivirus free or paid version of AVG Internet Security?
