What does message "A.bin file missing " mean. 2015 free version is stated as "out of date" but was only downloaded a wek or two ago. When trying to update it only gets to about 40% and then the message "Updat has failed

Charles, I assume you are updating from AVG 2015 build 5315 to 5557, which seems to be more difficult than it should be. Repair was necessary in my case: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG

I give the thumbs down for both the top two answers, because while the top answer deleted the temporary files, updateing the files got me right back to square one, as I said every is so clever today there is always something always broken.




Is this a good image to splash out money on a “pay” version
