HI, All or to whomever this may concern
The latest AVG VPN update has severely reduced my download speed and slowed the computer enormously!!!
With the VPN off, download hits the usual 50+ Mps. On, it drops to .44Mbps, and, as for streaming - forget it!
Anybody else been a victim of this 'update'?

Thank you for contacting AVG Community Forum. I see you are facing issues download speed reduced after AVG Secure VPN. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Regarding your concern, I would like to inform you that the changing the location may fix the issue.
Kindly follow the below steps to change the location to a different server :
> Click Change on the main application screen
> Use the side menu to view all the servers in a specific continent, or servers that are optimized for streaming.
> Select a country. For countries that offer multiple cities, click the down arrow and select your preferred city.
> Click Change location to confirm the change.
>Your location now shows as the country and city that you selected.

We seem to be having the same issue, when I speed test connected straight to the modem I get 100Mbps, when I go through a device running AVG, I get 10 Mbps!
Will try the suggested fix
