I am sorry to hear that. It seems that the old trail traces of AVG did not completely remove from your computer and that caused this issue. I suggest you to follow the below steps and uninstall AVG completely from your computer and after which you can install the AVG AntiVirus free without any problem:

Download and run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe. This tool will help with removing antivirus component of AVG 2017 and its traces.

Open tool
User Account control - click "Yes"
Windows safe mode - click "No" (we cannot recommend use the tool in safe mode, because there is a problem with compatibility)
Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security)
Click "Uninstall"
Click "Restart computer"

Today I had a problem with soffice.bin that denied permission to open normally my Libre Office files.

I disinstalled AVG antivirus, downloaded the last version from the official site and reinstalled the program.

Now it doesn't allow me to run the normal operations because every time I click on the left square of the dashboard to open the antivirus application it keeps popping up a warning window with red icons telling that the trial period is over. It doesn't allow me to use the free base antivirus. I am sure I selected the free home version during installation. Do you understand what is the problem? Thank you and I apreciate your help.
