Five threats were found when I ran a scan of my system. I clicked the "Protect Me" button on one, and it was moved to the Quarantine file, but I'm not sure if that's what's best to do to rid my system of threats. I've read elsewhere that files shouldn't be move or deleted. Is that true? If so, then what should be done?
I can't find a way to print a log, but the AVG Antivirus screen shows - Potentially unwanted application OS X/Spigot.D in user/LIbrary/Application Support (moved to quarantine) Could be a potentially unwanted application OS X/Spigot Potentially unwanted application OSX/Spigot.B Corrupted executable file (.exe.part file in Downloads) Found MalSign.Optimizer.6A0 (setup ODM.exe file in Downloads) The .exe files of course cannot be opened (and weren't) in OS X
Please advise best way to proceed to rid my system of these threats.
