About two months ago I had serious problems with AVG Antivirus. firstly the programme version number went backwards ! Secondly if I attempted a system scan with AVG the interface would "disappear" from the screen mid scan. the AVG icon in the system tray would go too, and from task manager as well.
I was offerred remote assistance by AVG but I would NEVER allow remote connections.
I have since uninstalled AVG from all my computers and have another antivirus that seems to be working and updating on a regular basis. I do have one machine that I have not used since removing AVG and would like to try and instal it again (Windows 7 / 32bit)
I would like to know the current version of AVG free antivirus, both the version and the current build date. I can then see if the situation has improved. Your comments would be appreciated.
