Hi there,
I'm a happy user of AVG for several years now but I have run into a problem as of late which I struggled to resolve.
When I boot my computer I will have internet connection for a brief period, then it will drop out (ping -t requests to google will return Request timed out). I used the Windows Network Diagnostics and the troubleshooter returned the following error - 'The DNS server isn't responding'.
I tried restarting my router, restarting my computer, unplugging my wireless USB adapter and using a new one. Nothing worked. I have deactivated AVG completely and now my internet is working fine and I can reach the DNS.
