Please let us know the version of AVG that is installed on your computer (Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - About).
Also, share us the screenshot of the message regarding last run virus definitions & scan for better clarity.
When I run most of my AVG products they tell me it has many several days since last being run, even if I run it the next day. I am not sure why and it doesn't seem to cause any issues. Just curious if there is really an issue or I just ignore it.
