When restarting computer, AVG turns on in passive mode

Hi Joseph,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern.
After recent AVG update, customer will receive notification as "AVG is in passive mode" when there are other security program installed on your PC.
This update was released to inform customers about the necessity of having a single antivirus program on their computer.
It is not recommended to have two security program running on same PC which might cause various issues for the PC at any time.
We don't want our customers to face any difficulties because of these conflicts with antivirus program. Please refer http://avgclick.me/ConflictingApps

When restarting computer, AVG turns on in passive mode.  I have to turn off passive mode and then restart computer a second time. This has happened ONLY since the last AVG update.(ver. 17.7.3032.)
What's going on?
