When will AVG fix automatic update problem?

Hi - Many of us have not received an automated update in AVG 2015 for more than a week.  I know AVG is "working on it", but can we have an update with an estimate of when this process will be restored?

Please understand, I am not angry - just tired of walking between systems to udate virus definitions.

Hey Avg User…you are not being harsh…HARSH is not being able to TRUST your anti - virus program - paid or free - to protect you as promised…Had a really GOOD and pithy response planned here…but the BOTTOM LINE is…MANUAL UPDATES for all of us…for HOW LONG AVG…HOW MUCH LONGER???

For those of you who have not already switched to AVAST anti-virus, here is my suggestion.  Write an e-mail, txt message, or twitter message to AVG's upper-management.  Please, be nice but explain our problem and ask for help. 

I sent an e-mail to Andrew.Reid@avg.com on 7/10 asking for help.  He is the Senior VP in charge of Products.  The mail did not bounce back, so I have hope.  You might also write to the president, Gary Kovacs (Gary.Kovacs@avg.com).  While I am sure that they are unaware of this problem, any one of them could help bring focus and resources to this problem.

Hi Aravind - First, my name is not Greg.  Second, I tried your instructions and it failed.  Then I called AVG Technical Support.  Got case # 02188884 - and verified with Technical Support that the new install failed up perform updates.  I sent in a AVG SysInfo output.  I am waiting for a result.

You are the fourth AVG employee to say - its fixed.  It is NOT FIXED.
