Alan, thanks for the reply, and note that I have already created an Autorun file.  How would I upload the file on this Forum?

When Windows starts, an AVG folder opens:
C:\Documents and Settings\Mona\Application Data\AVG
There are three subfolders: AWL2012, PC Tuneup 2011, and Rescue.

This is very annoying, but can't figure out how to discontinue this process. I looked at MSCONFIG, and the only startup for AVG listed is "avgui".

I have an AutoRun file, but I don't know how to upload a file here.

Any help would be appreciated.
