Well, there must be mistake somewhere then. Let me give you an example, AVG installed and updated Skype. I went into the C drive and there is no skype installer there.
In the Program Files (x86)->AVG and Program Files (x86)-> Skype there is nothing there either. In ProgramData I can't find the installer either. So I'm clueless to where the installers are going. It must be well hidden.
The reason I'm asking this is that the installers tend to accumulate with time and take up a lot of space in the hard drive, while being unecessary after the installation.
Hello João,
When a program is updated to latest version, all the new files will install in the installation folder of that program. Typically in C:\Program files(x86) or C:\Program files.
There was a recent update for the AVG Tuneup in which it downloads and installs updates for your programs? Where are the setup files stored? Does anyone know? Thank you.

Hello Joao,
Thank you for understanding. As we said earlier, all installed program setup files stored in "C' drive. To cross check please open your C drive and select Program(X86) files. Once you went to there folder you will see AVG in listed programs. Click on that and check whether yuou can see the setup files of AVG.
Feel free to contact us for further assistance with AVG.
Thank you.
