Where is changelog for AVG PC tuneup 2019

Soul,
Thank you for waiting.
If "Show what's new after update" is enabled in AVG settings, a splash screen of updates that are applicable to the updated/installed AVG Tune-Up will appear if any major changes were done.

Unfortunately, we do not have a change-log. We appreciate your efforts in sharing the feedback/suggestion with us.
It has been forwarded to our development team for further consideration.
Thank you!

Hello Soul,
Thank you for being our valuable customer and for your suggestions.
We will take this as a feedback and forward this case to our developer's team to check and work on it.
We will get back to you if we need more info regarding changelog issue.

the new AVG is good but i/we need those old good functions back, especially these two ASAP in next upcoming version, these are the most important features for me at least in my priority list.

Also, even after checking/enabling the option in AVG settings notification settings section "Show what's new after update' why no changelog is shown after an update? Fix this bug & make a transparent blog post of every new version release with detailed changelog like Google did for their chrome release for better transparency & understanding to & for the consumers like us.

Like many of others, am too a long term AVG PC tuneup user, even since then when it was not a part of AVG, so we don't want to see a half backed BETA product that we are paying for a subscription.

I also agree that old functions need to be put back. I was forced to upgrade to the new version yesterday and found so many have now gone, including the registry defragger, the drive defragger and the standalone registry cleaner which used to catch many things that one-click maintenance missed. What I am left with now is more or less one-click maintenance with a few extra things thrown in. One-click maintenance used to be one small part of a much larger suite of tools, not the whole program. I have been using Tuneup since before AVG bought it from the company who created it and originally sold it, then when it was bought by AVG I continued using it and migrated across to become an AVG customer. I have used this product for well over 10 years and it has always been fantastic. One of the good things was that it hardly changed after it was bought by AVG and AVG more or less left it alone for a long time. It was always well-designed and worked perfectly. Now it is just one-click maintenance with some extras, and under the ‘legacy’ tab it sort of looks like the features there are intended to be eventually scrapped as well, if they are labelled as ‘legacy’ in the first place and not just included in the normal program. Why make them legacy? And also why is the system information function put into legacy? Isn't that kind of an important function?  I still have a 2014 version of this software on another computer and I was forced to copy it over to my system and install it so I can still access the other standalone functions I am used to using which are no longer included. Please put them back, this is ridiculous when a 6 year-old version is now more useful and user-friendly than a 2020 version.

I forgot to say that another important function which is now missing is where it used to be able to optimize your internet connection settings and adjust the packet sizes etc. There were a few times this fucntion got me out of trouble, once was after my system had been hacked and my internet speed slowed right down to almost nothing. Tuneup Utilities found the issue immediately and restored my settings to their correct ones and everything was normal again. Now what are we suposed to do to check this. It was very handy now gone. Tuneup Utilities was something we got so we could fix all of these usually complicated things easily. Now it is mainly just cleaning junk files and sleeping programs. No idea why so many useful things have been removed, we are all paying the same amount as before but now we have less.

Hello Ranjani Bakthavachalam,

I already told in my earlier post that

"even after checking/enabling the option in AVG settings notification settings section "Show what's new after update' why no changelog is shown after an update?"

So, that's pretty much a bug that needs to be fixed & that's why I reported in here.

We realize the concern, Soul.
Thank you for reporting here. We are glad to forward this to our developers team and it will be fixed in the upcoming updates.
We appreciate your patience.
