Where is the "Connect" menu?

Thank you for choosing AVG but I regret to hear that you are experiencing issues with installing the product. Do you have AVG Anti Virus free or AVG Internet Security installed on your PC? Since the recent update, you can login using your email address and password through AVG Anti Virus/Internet Security interface only to complete the activation.

Open AVG Anti Virus/Internet Security.
Click on My AVG->My Subscription.
Click on Login, enter your AVG MyAccount email address and password.
Click Login again to complete the activation.

I ordered the free trial of Secure VPN. In the e-mail I got it says I shall open the program and click on the "Connect" menu. There is no such menu. I see many other people are having the same problem, som I'm amazed this error has not been fixed yet. Relating to an answer to another user: I also do not have a HOME icon at the start page of the program.

So, where is the "Connect" menu? Or is there another way to activate Secure VPN?

Please avoid the words "dashboard" or "management consol". I understand what they mean on a theoretical level, but haven't got the slightest clue which parts of the AVG program correspond to them.
