I have been having the same issue myself on 3 different computers - 2 being virtually identical desktops aside from personal files, and a laptop, both on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I am being patient while this AVG SysInfo runs…Definitely something going on with AVG here =\

I have a Windows 7 machine. Everytime you reboot the computer now, a white screen with the curser pops up once it has completely rebooted. I type ctl, alt, Dlt and then task manager…but what this does is allow me to see the bottom toolbar. I can see the AVG icon down there and if I right click on that icon and close it…then my screen pops up properly. It you hover over it, you can see that AVG has not loaded…it is just the white screen.

Hi Kenza. I did this repair but it did not fix the problem. I believe it has something to do with what AVG does once the computer links up with the Internet. Maybe either router settings or modem settings and AVG seeing it as a threat or something because there isn't a problem u til it finally sees my wireless internet. That's when the Avg icon pops into the lower tray and then the screen turns white like it's trying to open up Avg while it's loading.

I do the ctl, alt, dlt so I can get something to show the lower tray so I can right click on the AVG I one and it closes that window and the computer is fine after that.
Hi Corey,
If Sysinfo is not working please provide us with http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/runner_en.exe output (run it after inducing described behavior) using this tool and please add detailed description of issue.
Thanks
Hi Brenda,
