Tonight I installed a couple of AVG updates and now when I try to launch AVG I get a static white screen. I've uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times according to Ranjani Bakthavachalam (Avast) recommendations posted here but still get the white screen. A couple of days ago I paid for the AVG VPN product but can't tell if it or the virus protection is working. What do I need to do to resolve this issue?

Hi Ranjani, thanks for the quick response. Yes, I used the AVG Clear tool first then the Removal tool then deleted all the temperary files and folders and did a reinstall of AVG Antivirus Free. When I attempt to open AVG Antivirus I get a white box that comes up on the desktop and it stays that way until I end the process in Task Manager. I do not have an AVG Secure VPN on my desktop. I don't recall which product was being updated before the problem but I had to do a reboot to make the changes active. Where do I go from here? Thanks!
