I run a manual scan almost daily. For the last week, when I run a whole computer scan (or any scan), it starts and ends instantly. I looked in the scan details, and the "tested items" column shows "0" for all scans run during the last week - in other words, it's not scanning anything.

Thank you for the fast response. Unfortunately, I do not have the "repair" option when I check under AVG as instructed. I am offered two options: "uninstall" or "change." I checked under a few other programs (iTunes, etc.), and the "repair" option is offered for those programs.
Any other ideas please?
