Why am I not protected?

We apologize for the difficulties. We would request you to update your AVG program into 2017 version. Please uninstall older version as suggested here: http://avgclick.me/UninstallAVGAV.

Kindly download your AVG remover and run it, then go to C: drive -> AVG Remover -> Bin -> pctremover.exe and avgfmwremover.exe (do not restart your device if prompted), then run avgremover.exe (it will automatically reboot your device).

Then please remove AVG folders manually as suggested below. Go to Run window (press windows key and R key simultaneously) and type the following comments to delete the folders.

Previous AVG protection installed by computer repair firm.
I opened an account and renewed protection with you on January 16th before previous protection ran out.
My ref no is 703-1382767    Order number 75721439.Why is it saying I am not protected?

  1. Type  “Temp” and press enter, remove all the files.
    2.  “%temp%” and remove all the files.
    3.  %appdata% - Remove all the AVG folders.
    4.  %programdata% - Open the AVG folder and remove the old files.

    Please go to c: drive-> program files and delete the AVG files and download your AVG Internet Security unlimited program from our official site: http://www.avg.com/us-en/download.
