Why are my incoming emails prefixed by (SPAM)...?

Guys,

Further to the above, EVERY email I'm receiving is now preceded by the title (SPAM) followed directly by the proper email title text heading.

Surely there must be a way to switch this off/stop it/whatever as it has never done this before until a short while ago, yet in the same time pereiod I have not messed with AVG behind the scenes at all.

Therefore, if it was never there, then one assumes that it can be got rid of as it'e SO annoying…

Answers anyone, please?

I have the fully paid-for version of AVG - very happy with it. However, in the last monthg or so I have noticed that my in-coming emails header text is now prefixed with this text: (SPAM) followed by the actual email header.

Question: How do I get rid of this (?) as it's increasing the width of the header text needlessly and making itself a nusiance! All my emails are coming in ok and I personally havn't changed any settings at all; it has just started itself appearing…All my emails in-bound are coming from known sources and if I go back in time, the title (SPAM) has nerver, ever been there before in all the years I have had a fully-paid for AVG set-up. I have tried to find a setting that is causing it but i tend to leave the 'behind-the-scenes- stuff well alone!

Could it be that I have a setting not quite right? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Alan,

thanks for your reply. Had a look at it but I cannot determine where on my pc to go.

Where exactly do I go into my personal AVG Internet Security to turn the function that is causing this off? Where does this Anti-Spam component live?

I have found what i think it may be at Control Centre>Emails>Anti-Spam (Enabled) and turned this off but all I now gete it the desktop Toolbar icon and the Control Centre telling me I'm not protected!

Help!
