Why can't I have both antivirus and internet protection at the same time?

We're glad to clarify this for you.
AVG Antivirus is the basic protection. Whereas, AVG Internet Security is the premium protection (in other words, it is the upgrade to AVG Antivirus Free).
We can't use both the free version (Antivirus) & paid version (Internet Security) on the same computer.
Once, you activate the paid version through the free program, then the free version will be disappeared. This is the usual behavior. Your computer will be protected with AVG Internet Security.

I have installed antivirus and internet protection disappears. I install internet protection, and antivirus disappears.  Why can't I have both products at once?  I paid for internet protection.
