Why did my pro account expire

My account is automatically paid out for £ 74.99. I am not satisfied with this fee so I turned off automatic payments on Paypal. Today I received an email "You’ve unsubscribed from AVG Internet Security (Multi-Device)" and my pro account was announced to be about to expire. Please give me feedback so I know what's going on.
