Why do I keep getting AVG messages that my account is deactivated, yet I see AVG seems to be protecting me?

I purchased 2 year protection 5/23/2014 and it appears to be protecting my computer.  Why do I keep getting messages from AVG stating it is de-activated?  I don't understand?  Please take care of the problem.
