Why does AVG keep prompting me to purchase additional products to hide my location when I have VPN

Hello Robert,

If you have our AVG Secure VPN program installed and activated, then you will not be getting the campaign as "hide your location".
The program is designed to show campaign popups for our other products.
If you are using a 3rd party VPN application, then our AVG program will not be able to detect it.
In case, if you do not wish to see AVG campaigns, open AVG Internet Security program interface.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>General–>Personal Privacy".
Uncheck the box that says 'Show offers for our other products".
