Thanks to Alan Binch I was able to get through very quickly (probably because this is a Sales number). All I needed to do was change my auto-renew licence from 3 computers to 1 computer, as the renewal date is 31st October. This was done easily, and I bought a new licence for 2 years. I double checked with the agent that VAT was not charged (export order), and she assured me there was no VAT content. When I downloaded the licence and Invoice VAT had been charged. I then spent over half an hour on the phone to another agent, which went round in endless circles, going nowhere. In the end he advised me to send an email as a Business Customer (which I am not) so that the problem would reach the right department. This I did, explaining at length how the VAT system works and the simple matter of Zero Rating an order. (For a huge company, dealing with 177 million customers around the world, this must be totally basic). I have had no reply, and dread the thought of another phone call. After many years of fine service from AVG this is a great let-down. I wonder, Zbynek, if within your offer above you may be able to help in any way? Thank you, Brian.
