Why does ‘AVG Security’ appear in network connections on Mac

I’ve used AVG for years, but since upgrading my Mac to Big Sur, the network security tab shows dozens of “AVG Security” as if it was a network like my wifi or ethernet connections.
Why is it there at all? How do I stop it? I’ve tried deleting them all but they reappear instantly.
I’ve logged in and out of the AVG network connection as well.
I don’t know why it show a VPN connection, I don’t use one.
