This time the AVG VPN is on. Sometimes it states in a popup that it is off, usually while I am on the net doing something as if a cracker was able to get on my computer and turn it off while I am typing to a blog or buying something. I don't physically turn it off. When I go find it in the programs list, I click it and turn it back on. I assume that because I complained it is on now.
I went through your article, and that is how I remember setting it up - the AVG VPN. I am trying a different piece of software that your company has and it required I have an AVG account password. I did not make one when I bought the VPN! Maybe somethings was 'cleaned' by the trial software, I don't know. This is a 2004 top of the line Indonesian built Dell laptop. I bought it used in 2015 because it has a metal case, making it rather heavy for a laptop. It runs win 7 so no Microsoft installed spyware. I use a keyboard extension and an external monitor. these used to be for my tower dell also a 2008 model no longer supported by Dell because it used the beta platform of the motherboard. So now that it does not even Post or boot, Dell makes no replacement motherboards for beta towers. I bought 1600 dollars worth of upgrades that can't be used in other machines only that one. So I am now wary of buying machines from Dell; they used to be a reliable company, I guess 2007 was the cut-off point.
My next machine will probably be a BOXX computer since I won't have to upgrade for a while it has 64 cores, 128 Gb ram and uses the AMD Threadripper CPU, runs two Nvidia video cards and will cost an arm and a leg to purchase at $9,000 plus has eight bays for hard drives, BOXX is not made in China so no slave laborers build them and all the parts are built in America.

I go on the internet at various times, The new AVG VPN I purchased is always turned off when I get on the net. I have to go and find it, then turn the VPN back on, even though I have the settings made to turn it on as soon as I get on the net. AVG popup comes on and announces the VPN is off, why does to constantly occur every time I log on to the internet?
