John, Please try unchecking "Scan system environment" in scan settings (Advanced Settings - Scans) & see if the scan completes.

Thanks Alan for the advice! You fixed the problem!
When I run the whole computer scan, it scans for a while. About 2 minutes in, it stops scanning then the whole computer locks up. Can I fix this?
