Why does the AVG icon have an exclamation point on it?

I regret for the inconvenience caused. You can remove the AVG Secure VPN campaign popups by opening AVG Internet Security->Menu->Settings->Popup-> uncheck 'Show offers for other AVG products' and click OK to save changes. Close and reopen AVG Internet Security program, then the campaign popup will be removed. However, the exclamation mark in AVG icon is a known bug and our developers are working on it.
I assure you that the bug will be fixed as soon as possible and released via update.
