Why doesn't my iPod show up in the list of devices for AVG Family Safety?

What is current status, were you able to solve it or do you still need our assistance?

I installed the AVG Family Safety browser on my iPod.  When I opened the AVG browser, I was asked to enter my AVG Family Safety account information, which I did.  When I go to my PC and open the parental controls manager, and click on Assign Profiles, the iPod does not appear in the list of devices.

I did this same exersize with my iPad, and it worked beautifully.  But the iPod won't show up.  I've tried two iPods with the same result.  I also uninstalled the AVG browser, and reinstalled it to try the setup again.  Still no luck.
