Why has AVG suddenly made my word files read only

Hello Chris,
Let's work together to fix it. Open AVG Internet Security -> Hacker & attacks -> Ransomware Protection -> Blocked/ allowed apps -> Blocked apps -> remove if Microsoft office or word file is added and check the status.

my word files for years have been fully usable, today they have all gone to read only.  I can do nothing with them. Microsoft suggest security protection can do this.  I disable AVG all my word files return to normal.  I restart AVG and all files revert back to read only.  I do not need this!!!  Can anyone please offer a solution?  Thanks.
