May I know, how do you suspect the AVG causing this issue?
Have you turned off any AVG programs and confirmed it?
If you receive any pop-ups from AVG saying blocked, provide us with the screenshot of the same.
Please disable AVG Internet Security temporarily and check if it resolves the issues. 
To disable the AVG Internet Security, refer to this article.
Also, turn off the AVG Secure VPN and check the status.
