my antivirus is 360 total security with bitdefender scanengine and as a background program it cannot be deactivated but as a startup program it is deactivated automaticly. It is not on the list of programs to move from optimization to hands off. This list is not working anyway. I think next is windows 10 being deactivated
why is avgpctuneup turning off my antivirus software and calls it unnessacery Is the only reason, that it is not from avg? What kind of tuneup is that?
In stead of these automated answers, I would like some professional to do something about it. And who has ever heard of a proper tune up program, that promotes software, which is using far to much resourses. I am still sad about AVG taking over TuneUp Utilities.
Hello Tom,
We apologize for the inconvenience. Please be informed that the disabling the startup of the Antivirus program will not harm your computer. And the Antivirus will still work fine, after the computer boots up. You can change the startup up settings from the windows startup manager or check if you have the option in the AVG PC TuneUp to change the startup settings.
Thank you.
Hello Tom,
We understand your concern.
We will inform this to the concerned team. However, you can also post your feedback on the AVG products from this link http://avgclick.me/AVGfeedback
Thank you.
Hello Tom,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
AVG PC TuneUp generally informs what are all the programs that is utilizing more of your system resource and prompts to disable the same. If the AntiVirus program uses more system resource, you will be prompted to disable the same. You can ignore the option to disable the Antivirus program and that should fix the issue.
Thank you.
