My avg is showing that it has not scanned my pc in 9 months? I pay for this so why is it not scanning automatically?

Did you have a virus scan scheduled in AVG scan settings? If you have not, please click on this link on how to schedule a scan in AVG. We'd also like to inform you that the "Last computer scan" status on AVG user interface will update only when you start a scan by clicking on "Scan computer" button on main dashboard.
This status will not get updates for any other scan you run (for example schedule scan or deep scan).
You can check the previously schedule scans in the same place as mentioned in the article. You can either run the scan manually or schedule it.
