Why is that since having the new AVG we are bombarded with AVG adverts/pop-ups

The new AVG works fine, but what is irritating are the number of AVG pop-ups that appear trying to sell AVG products…HOW CAN I STOP THEM ???

Also, I am told there is something in my 'shopping basket'…'AVG Tuneup'.
I keep emptying my basket but it still keeps showing the product and telling me 'I have left something in my basket'.

So any ideas how to stop the above.

Just for info…I have gone into AVG Settings and the Pop-ups and un-ticked the box about AVG products appearing, but it still does not solve the problem.

I understand that it is always good to update products…but we have a saying in the UK
"If it isn't broke, don't fix it".

Hello Kevin,

I understand how difficult this is for you. We have already escalated this issue of frequent AVG pop-ups from Interface to the developer team and they are working on a permanent fix. Once the fix is released, it will be updated via the product interface and that will stop all the ads and pop-ups. Your patience is much appreciated in this regards.
