Why is the Groupon offer so much cheaper?

A few months ago I renewed my AVG 2 year licence for a cost of £66.65 plus VAT making a total of £79.99   I was therefore somewhat annoyed to see a recent Groupon offer giving exactly the same product and cover for just £9.99 …an 85% discount!!
Having been a customer of AVG for several years is there no point in loyalty?
